404 Error Page Designs

Many of you must have come across a 404 error page while browsing on the internet. Why do you land on a 404 error page? Well, that occurs for a variety of different reasons. Maybe the URL you typed was wrong, or maybe that page doesn’t exist anymore, or maybe because of a broken link, or maybe due to some other technical reason. But whatever the reason, navigating to a 404 error page usually elicits a ‘Oh no!’ response from the viewer. So why not make it a pleasurable and a helpful experience? Web designers and web masters are coming with quick and innovative ways to create this page, which was usually not given a lot of attention before.

When a users land on a 404 error page, the main tools that help make navigation easier for them is to either help them go back to the page they came from, or the homepage, or help search for what they’re looking for through a search bar. Yet even these simple tools can be designed and created in such a way as to make a really good 404 error page! Landing on a 404 error page cannot be avoided, but keeping the users’ attention on the page is really important. So today we are bringing you a host of different 404 error page designs.
