Letters, like words, have a character. At least that’s the case for creative people.

Marketers, writers, designers use letters as a vehicle of not merely a ‘bare conversation to convey basic meaning’. They consider these letters as a medium to convey a feeling that goes far beyond the literal meaning.

Just as the tone or other non-verbal expressions can change the meaning of the words you utter, letter fonts have the power to influence the readers in both pleasant or unpleasant ways. Letters can have so many different colors and font styles – bright, subdued, subtle, formal, modern, conservative.

We cannot just use any font in any context. We have to be mindful of the context and the nature of the communication as well as the feel a graphic design or text is intended to deliver to its viewers and readers.
