The Torino
This bass is made from two pieces of quarter sawn bookmatched Spalted Beech, which i managed to get hold of for the happy sum of twenty quid. The neck is Maple and the fingerboard is Rosewood. The binding is Ebony, and the back plates are Rosewood. Originally when it was made it was just called ‘The Beast’ and the guy who owns it still calls it that. It sounds like being punched in the face by an angry gorilla during an earthquake. It has a volume for each pickup and a master tone. It also has 25db active preamp.
These are all extremely clever designs! Very nice. I think my fav it the iPhone case. There is something about a wooden phone i am drawn to!
Some of the woodworks shown here would be pretty good for a reception desk. They’ll definitely catch everyone’s attention. That stitched chair’s gonna look good as an executive’s chair, don’t you think? Haha!
